What are the best anti-aging tips?

Here are a few tips that I think are best for staying young -

  1. Sunscreen - I use an Indian brand which is perfect as it protects my skin from UV-A and UV-B rays. I have high exposure to blue light so I apply sunscreen every day at least 2 times.
  2. Water - Hydration is important so I drink around 3 - 4 liters of water every day and keep my urine pale yellow. Drinking more water supports cell functions and helps in flushing out toxins that speed up aging. When the skin’s outer layer is hydrated, it stays more resilient, which can reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
  3. Oranges - I prefer oranges over any other fruit. It is full of Vitamin C which counteracts oxidative stress and free radical damage and helps in the synthesis of collagen which reduces skin aging.
  4. Sleep - I sleep for 8 hours every day even if it means that I have to compromise on my social life. Adequate sleep helps in collagen production and reduces puffiness and dark circles. Not sleeping enough increases cortisol in the body which breaks down collagen in the body and damages skin.
  5. Regular workouts - I try to workout regularly. Working out regularly improves blood flow, supplying skin cells with oxygen and nutrients that maintain collagen and elastin.
